What to Expect:
We will begin the evening with a welcome cocktail as everyone arrives. Once all the guests are assembled, we will hold our wedding ceremony, led by our friend Kevin Anderson. Our sisters, Melanie Puzio, Kait Winter and Courtney Weinberger, will perform readings during the ceremony, and our friend Josh Hambrock has the very important task of holding our rings.
Immediately after the ceremony, a celebratory dinner will be hosted by JJ’s mom, Debra Puzio. The meal will feature a curated selection of Dante & Luigi's traditional (and delicious!) Italian dishes. Please let us know ahead of time if you have dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate everyone!
I’m a vegan, so I’ll just have lettuce, thanks!
And of course, there will be desserts!
What to Wear:
Please wear your favorite cocktail attire.
Where to Stay:
For our out of town guests, first let us thank you so much for traveling to be with us to celebrate this special day!
Rooms will be reserved at four hotels: the brand new Hampton Inn in Media, PA* as well as three in Philadelphia: the Kimpton Hotel Monaco, the Wyndham Historic District, and the Aloft Downtown. You can also check out Airbnb if you prefer to stay in the home of a local!

Dante & Luigi’s is located in South Philadelphia in a charming neighborhood called Bella Vista. Street parking in this area is limited, but valet parking will be available. We encourage carpooling and ridesharing. The restaurant is not easily accessible by public transportation, but it is a short (10-20 minutes depending on traffic) Uber or Lyft ride from the Philadelphia hotels.
Q: How did you choose this venue?
A: Dante & Luigi’s is a Philadelphia institution! It is owned by JJ’s mom’s dear friend, Connie LaRussa, and her husband, Michael. The restaurant has been in business since 1899 and is one of the oldest Italian restaurants in the U.S. When Connie and Michael bought the restaurant in 1996, they lovingly restored the building to its original beauty, and it is a lovely backdrop for our intimate, dinner party wedding. Read more about the restaurant’s history here: About Dante & Luigis
Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: As much as we love the little ones, please leave them at home with a babysitter. This is an adults only ceremony and dinner. However, they are more than welcome to join us for the reception on Saturday!
Q: What time does the dinner end? Is there an after party?
A: The evening does not have a formal end time, but will likely wrap up by about 10pm. We will be staying at the Hotel Monaco on Friday night and will organize an informal gathering either at the Hotel Monaco bar or another bar nearby for those who’d like to keep the celebration going. We will also be inviting guests who are coming for the reception only.
Q: What if we want to give you a gift?
A: We are so happy that you’ll be able to join us for our wedding! As many of you know, we’ve lived together for several years, and our house is already filled with most of the things we need to make it a home. While the presence of your company is the best gift we could ask for, a registry has been set up for those who would like mark the occasion with a gift. You can find the registry here: https://www.zola.com/registry/jjanddylan.
